Floral and Leather

Hey girls! Got another outfit post for you today! I know I have a lot of printed jackets but I couldn't resist when I saw this on The Iconic. It was down from $110 to $40! I'm also pretty happy with my hat as well, $2 from Cotton On! Gotta love those sales. Have you guys picked up anything good at the sales lately?

Anyway, Uni has nearly finished for the year, so that means I'll have time for more outfit posts!
There have been quite a few things I've wanted lately, once I pick up some more shifts at work I might splurge. I'm on the hunt for a new concealer, I would love some advice on one I should try! I've been thinking about the Collection 200 concealer, I'd have to buy it on ebay. Have any of you tried it?

Napoleon Perdis Devine Goddess Lipstick in Eros

Hey everyone! Got another beauty review for you today, on this gorgeous Napoleon Perdis Lipstick! I had $35 left on my gift card, and these lipsticks had such gorgeous packaging I had to get one. While choosing which colour to get (I am extremely indecisive), I was torn between getting a more neutral colour which I could wear more often. But whats the fun in that when you could get a colour as beautiful as this! Its not quite red but more of a berry. I'm still to try it out on a night out, but from what I've tried so far I think it'll past the test. It's extremely long wearing - I had a shower before bed and when I woke up my lips were still stained! It also feels really nice on your lips, didn't dry mine out at all, which is unusual for a lipstick!

I'll definitely post an update on how it lasts on a night out; don't know if its just me, but my makeup gets very messy once I've been dancing and drinking!
I'm thinking of wearing a black outfit, but might even wear it with the blue top I'm wearing in the top picture. What colours would you wear with it?

African print

Good morning my lovely followers! Found this top in Temt and fell in love! And of course, its printed! Wore it today down the coast with my family for a picnic, and its so comfortable! Usually clothes with cut outs aren't the most practical to wear out everyday, but this top is so lovely and perfect for the hot weather we've been having lately.

Top - Temt, Shorts - Dotti, Bag - Kardashian Kollection, Sunnies - Princess Polly, Sandals - Betts,
How has everyone been lately? Uni finishes in like 3 weeks and it can't come soon enough! I'm sure I'll be posting (and spending money) a LOT more. Had a bit of trouble finding outfits to post for you lately! I feel like I spend my life buying clothes and still have nothing to wear.
After the picnic today we went shopping and I bought a gorgeous new NP lipstick in this beautiful berry red shade, planning a post for you in the coming week!

DIY Levi shorts two ways

I don't know if other people have a similar problem, but I really struggle finding shorts that suit me! I really like high-waisted styles, but at the same time I like them to be a decent length. And in the shops currently it seems that you can only have one or the other; the high-waisted ones show your bum cheeks and the modest length ones are not flattering for those love handles.
Its the same with the ripped shorts too.. They never have the perfect rips.
Writing this, I realise I'm probably being OCD, but why is it so hard to find the perfect pair of shorts!
While attempting to solve this issue, I went on a trip to Vinnies (but I'm sure every op-shop would have them), and picked up two pairs of old fashioned Levi jeans. I then spent the day cutting and bleaching them

Bleached:
With this pair, I cut them off to my desired length, and then soaked them in a tub of bleach. I rotated them at 5 minute intervals to make sure the colour was consistant. Also remember if you're doing this, they will look darker when wet - so don't wait until the colour looks perfect to stop bleaching. Also, they will continue to lose colour when you remove them - to solve this, you can soak them in a bucket of vinegar. Once they were dried I frayed the bottoms by pulling the threads loose.

Original colour and cuffed:
These ones were pretty simple, just cut them to the desired length (a bit longer to leave room for the cuff), and then frayed them a bit and folded over the edges!

(I know the cuffs here aren't even but thats just my bad folding skills!)
What do you guys think of them? And which ones do you prefer?
I'd love to hear of different ways you've customised your old clothes, or someone elses!

Napoleon Perdis Ultimate Contour Palette Review

Hey dolls! Today I have a different kind of post for you, a review!! I got a $100 gift voucher for Napoleon Perdis for my birthday and finally spent it! I tried a few of their foundations, but I don't really think they make their foundations for my exact shade. They looked fine in the mirror at their stall, but in the bright lights of Myer I looked like an oompa loompa. So I thought I'd get this beautiful palette which I am extremely happy with! It was $60, but it's so pigmented I definitely think it's worth it.
The highlighter is definitely my favourite. I don't wear much bronzer as my skin is so pale, but I love blush and highlighter to add some colour to my face.
Overall I'd definitely recommend this!!

Ultimate Contour Palette - Napoleon Perdis
In the photos I'm wearing all three, the contour, colour and highlighter.
As for the other makeup I'm wearing, my trusty Lancôme Teint Idole Ultra 24h Foundation, Maybelline One by One mascara, Maybelline eyeliner, Bourjois touche healthy mix concealer, and Maybelline Baby Lips lip gloss.
And if you're interested, my top is from General Pants!
Have you tried any products from Napoleon Perdis? If so, I'd love tips on what I should buy with the remaining $40!
